Overnight oats have been around for quite a while. I never really got into them as I was happy with my good old oatmeal for breakfast each morning. But with the weather being a lot warmer recently, I haven’t wanted to eat such a hot breakfast. I decided to try overnight oats and see what all the fuss was about. I’m so glad I did. They are delicious and so versatile. Between the milk you choose, the protein flavours and the toppings, the combinations are endless. Below is one of my favourite overnight oats recipes but please feel free to add in or substitute the milk, protein and/or toppings until you find your best match!
225ml almond unsweetened milk
1 scoop white chocolate protein powder
8 drops My Protein white chocolate drops
150g raspberries and blueberries
- Add milk, protein powder, banana and drops to a blender. Blend.
- Put oats in a bowl.
- Pour liquid from blender into the oats and stir until combined.
- Cover bowl and refrigerate overnight.
- Add raspberries and blueberries before eating.
